Red Wine Vinegar from Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC - Donna Ester

You usually just think of red wine vinegar as something you can buy anywhere and keep in the back of the pantry for when you need it, but that’s not the case here! Esther’s red wine vinegar is indeed something special and something we continue to order and keep on hand. It is the perfect compliment to add to your olive oil for dipping a toasted baguette. I’m sure there are 1,000 other excellent uses but we love it so much with oil and bread that we have it at least once a week.

We happened upon Cantina del Vesuvio in 2023 and dropped in for a quick tour and lunch. First & Foremost the people were very welcoming, and then follow that up by an outstanding meal with some exceptional wine. The oils & Vinegars are equally as yummy, so much so that we order it each time when we order our wine.

Just purchased some more for our children & their wives for Christmas.

Make a point to try it, you will not be disappointed.
